Did you know Fall is the best time to plant a tree? 🍑🌳 Phase 1 of our fruit tree installation is complete! As we head into a thankful and grateful week, we’re so excited for everything that will grow in our community orchard. More trees to come, but for now stop by and say hi to our new citrus, stone fruit, and guava trees! 🍊

Join us this Saturday Nov 8th, 9-10:30am to dig deep into soil and compost! ♻️🪱 We’ll be talking about soil amendments, building healthy soil, and how you can get started composting. See you there!

We did some Fall/Winter planting in the garden beds outside of the fence recently for the community 🥦🥬🫜🥕 Did you know you can pick from these beds when produce is ready? While beds on the inside of the fence are private and rented, everything on the outside is for everyone to share (emphasis on share!) So much growing on at Duarte Community Garden! 🌱
